Team members from Watkins Glen International took their driving skills from the track, into the community.

More than a dozen volunteers form the track helped Meals on Wheels Wednesday. Team members split up and hit the road on seven different routes.

Some of the hot meals included chicken and Salisbury steak. WGI President Michael Printup said it's a key part of the track's philosophy.

“That’s a big piece for our whole portfolio," said Printup. "We want to be embedded in this community. We are embedded in this community. We are invested in the community and the community is invested in us so for us to be able to do something like this, it’s payback, you know for what this community does for us."

Typically the Chemung County Meals on Wheels has between 15 and 20 volunteers each day.
