A Buffalo man has died in a plane crash in Delaware County.

Delaware County sheriffs and State Police personnel responded around 3 p.m. Friday, according to Frank Milazzo, an assistant chief with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection Police.

A twin-engine, six-seater plane crashed in the area of Readburn Road in Walton, with one person on board. An official for the Department of Environmental Protection Police has identified the victim as 65-year-old Daniel Drew.

The NTSB and FAA continue to investigate.
