Animal Adventure Park has an update on everyone's favorite giraffe family. It looks like April, Oliver, and Tajiri will be staying together.

Tajiri was going to be transferred to another zoo as part of a conservation plan, but Animal Adventure Park says it decided to cancel that after requirements and deadlines were not met on time.

The zoo is now quickly coming up with a construction plan to build Tajiri his own building because it is not ideal for him to remain close to his parents. The building would also have space for a second giraffe or companion animal.

Construction is expected to take three to four weeks.

This will also take up a portion of land that was planned for the Wilds of Asia expansion, the opening for that will now be delayed.

April is expecting another calf next year.
