A Binghamton High School teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a female student, has pleaded guilty.
Timothy Lee was placed on leave last spring when the allegations first surfaced.
The district attorney says Lee pleaded guilty to one felony count of third-degree criminal sexual act.
He will be sentenced to 10 years probation.
As part of the plea, Lee surrendered his teaching license and is no longer employed by the district.
He must also register as a sex offender.
