President Lisa DiVirgilio Arnold was the speaker at the "Broome Women Lead" luncheon Friday.

Arnold says that stepping away from the office occasionally can lead to success and happiness at work.

"What we've seen in our research is people who plan their vacation ahead of time even if it's up to 6 to 7 months ahead of time, are about 20% happier in their current positions." said DiVirgilio.

Arnold also says New York State has among the highest rate of people neglecting paid time off.
