The town of Lindley continues to struggle following last week’s flash floods. A state of emergency remains in effect.

A number of roads were washed away. Nearly a dozen had some form of damage, and three are total losses.

Town officials say it could even be weeks before the state of emergency is lifted.

“The correct term is return safe. And that’s two to three weeks. How long will we have the state support? I don’t know. Nobody does. Who? You can’t see that far, but the support we’ve had so far has been incredible,” said Lindley Deputy Town Supervisor Ron Mosher.

The town itself has just under 50 miles of road. Some of those impacted Include Stonewell Road, Morgan Creek and Ryers Creek Road.
