An unexpected discovery in Saratoga lead to a heartfelt reunion at Siena College.

Reeny Milton of Galway was doing some plant work in Saratoga Springs State Park when she spied a glint of gold on the ground.

That very piece of gold turned out to be a Siena College ring from the Class of 1949 with the initials JJF engraved on it.

After a little digging Milton found the family of James Forth, Siena Class of '49.

Forth had since passed, but coincidentally, the week Milton called was the funeral of his wife.

Mercedes Williams caught up with the Forth family who talked about how grateful they are the ring had been found, and that they received some happy news during a difficult time.
