BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- The investigation continues into an early morning homicide in downtown Binghamton over the weekend.
Binghamton police responded to the call around 4:45 a.m. Sunday in the area of Main and Walnut streets.
When they arrived they found 27-year-old Daequan Dickerson lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police believe the shots came from a dark colored sedan, which fled the scene following the incident.
