Bloggers from around the world have descended on the Southern tier.

More than 600 people are attending the Travel Blog Exchange conference in Corning. They come from all over the world, as far away as Sri Lanka, to network and do business.

The conference has been going on since 2012, in places such as Jerusalem and the Mall of America. This is the first time it has been hosted in New York State.

“The area is just beautiful,” said TBEX CEO Rick Calvert. “The Finger Lakes has just gorgeous world class beauty, lots of stuff to do. You guys were just voted best wine region in the country. Lots of adventure stuff to do. There is a variety of activities for people. Lots of stories to tell and those are the kinds of places we look for.”

Many of the bloggers will soon head to another conference in Austin, Texas.
