Second-year students in the Windsor Strong Academy are "speed dating" with local professionals.

Students in grades 7-9 chose three different pathways that interest them the most, asking the pros about their job. Company representatives spoke with students about what they like, and why their job interests them.

It's an opportunity for students to introduce themselves and learn about what waits ahead after school.

"We really want these kids thinking about it ahead of time,” said Windsor Strong Coordinator Stefanie Olbrys. “So at this point and time they've really looked at taken a personality test, they've looked at their strengths, their weaknesses, they've really thought about what it means to be successful. And they're at a point now where they're like I think this pathway might be of interest to me based on what I know about myself."

Windsor Strong Academy had 57 students participating, an increase of more than 20 people from last year.
