Two Broome County properties that were once vacant are now back on the market.

The Broome County Land Bank announced the completion of two renovated homes on Wednesday. They're located at 117 Lagrange Street in Vestal and 1857 Burdick Street in Binghamton.

Both were renovated using New York State Community Development Block grants, which were awarded by the state's office of Homes and Community Renewal. Officials say this initiative is about giving families a fresh start.

Land bank officials are hoping to renovate more blighted properties in the future, investing more than $200,000 into these two homes. The Vestal home is listed at $95,000, while the Binghamton home is listed at $110,000.
