Two people indicted in a family murder case out of Corning were arraigned in Steuben County Monday.
Lloyd Neurauter pleaded not guilty to all nine felony counts, including first-degree murder and burglary.
His daughter Karrie also pleaded not guilty to all her charges, which include second-degree murder.
The two are accused of killing of their ex-wife and mother, Michele Neurauter. She was found dead in her Corning home last August.
Police say it was staged to look like a suicide, but they later ruled it a homicide by strangulation.
"My duty as a prosecutor is if I don't believe I can convict, I can't bring a case. It's my belief there's sufficient evidence in here to give to a jury and that they can convict on," said District Attorney Brooks Baker.
Karrie has been kept in the Steuben County Jail since her first appearance over a month ago, and her father was extradited Friday from New Jersey.
Both Karrie and Lloyd are set to go to trial on September 24. They'll be tried together, unless a motion is presented by April 16.
An order of protection was also filed against Lloyd’s second ex-wife and all of his children.
