A man has been arrested after he allegedly chased his father with a knife.

Officers were called to Walter Smith Terrace Sunday afternoon for reports of a man with a weapon.

They had been tipped off by Pennsylvania State Police that 17-year-old Bryler Bulkley was armed with a knife and was driving in a stolen car to Corning to kill another person.

Upon arrival, Corning police found Bulkley trying to leave the scene, but quickly took him into custody.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

Police did find a large kitchen knife in the car Bulkley was driving.

He's been charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree menacing. He's being held in the Steuben County Jail.
