A third day is required to fill the jury in the trial on a man accused of killing another in a Walmart parking lot.

Justin Barkley faces second-degree murder for allegedly shooting and kill William Schumacher outside the Ithaca Walmart in late 20-16.

During his arraignment, Barkley claimed he was trying to kill president Donald Trump.

In all, 12 jurors have been chosen so far this week. They also selected one alternate, but still need three more.

Barkley was initially ruled mentally incompetent, but a second mental examination determined Barkley was competent to stand trial.

Jury selection will resumes Wednesday.
