The Broome County Humane Society has been in its new facility since June.

And while there are additional services offered like a spay and neuter clinic and grooming, officials say they are still having a hard time keeping up with the number of animals — which have doubled since the move.

"There's still not enough space. We get calls everyday to take in cats, to take in dogs and we're always full. We do move them as quickly as we can," said Amberly Ondria, Broome County Humane Society shelter manager.

The manager says luckily adoptions have increased, especially for cats during the winter season.

The shelter also needs donations. Anyone wishing to pitch in can click here.
