Human remains found in the town of Bath earlier this year have been identified.

The New York State Police's Bath barracks announced the remains, found in February, are that of Orrin Mastin, 53 of Bath. He was last seen in January 2013.

Mastin's remains were found February 19 by a hiker in an undeveloped area north of Wood Street and Muck Circle in Bath. A state police investigation revealed, according to a press release, no "additional human remains or evidence to suggest foul play."

The investigation continues, according to state police.
