The State Education Department is working on new guidance for schools about students with dyslexia and similar learning disabilities. And Thursday, legislators hosted a town hall for kids, parents and educators to share their thoughts on the issue with the department and with lawmakers. It was organized by Assemblywoman Jo Anne Simon, who joins us to discuss.
