This week is the annual Somos el Futuro conference, a gathering of Latino and Latina lawmakers and advocacy groups. It is a chance for them to work on legislation, discuss federal and state issues, and also do some networking. The group actually had to cancel is fall event because it was supposed to be held in Puerto Rico, as it usually is, but the island was too devastated by Hurricane Maria. Joining us to discuss how that will impact the event is Assemblyman Marcos Crespo.
