New York State is now allowing the sales of specialized license plates to raise money for research into childhood cancer. You can get one through the Department of Motor Vehicles for $25. But getting the plate approved was a process that started back in 2014. Tim Stowell led the push in honor of his son Ben, who passed away in 2009 at age nine. Tim joins us to discuss what this means to him.
