LAS VEGAS -- O.J. Simpson could be released from a Nevada prison as early as Monday, but some of his post-jail plans are already in jeopardy.

Florida's attorney general doesn't want Simpson to return to the Sunshine State to serve out his parole. Simpson lived there before his 2008 conviction.

The attorney general sent a letter to Flordia corrections officials yesterday suggesting the state object to Simpson's return. The AG cited Simpson's history of violence and destructive behavior as reasons why.

In the past, Florida corrections officials have said that they must accept the transfer if Nevada's request meets the established criteria.
