LUMBERTON -- A group of volunteers were replaced a roof at a house damaged by Hurricane Matthew more than 7 months ago.

The 7 men and 2 women are part of the effort to rebuild from the disaster from the group North Carolina Baptist Men, which has doing all manner of recovery work in this area almost from the time that Matthew hit.

Spectrum News reporter David Ivey spoke with some of those volunteers and found out why they have such a strong passion to do this kind of work and the the commitment that the group has made to continue the work of recovery there.
