RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State is no longer licking their wounds after their shocking upset defeat to rival Wake Forest last Thursday night. The Pack was more than a 17-point favorite over the Deacs, who were down to their third string quarterback, and now they've lost three of their last four.

  • Louisville should provide quite the remedy when they face the tumultuous Cardinals on Saturday
  • A 10-win season is still a possibility if they win out including their bowl game

But Louisville should provide quite the remedy when they face the tumultuous Cardinals on Saturday who just recently fired former head coach Bobby Petrino. A 10-win season is still a possibility if they win out including their bowl game, so the focus now is to finish the year strong.

Head Coach Dave Doeren says, "It's the fourth quarter of our season and it's a focus on playing as well as we can and finishing down the stretch one week at a time. Our team knows how to handle adversity. Our team knows how to finish and that's where our focus is as a staff and as a group of players. Adversity creates opportunities as a leader and I'm looking forward to my opportunity to lead this football team and help these guys jump into this week against Louisville."
