North Carolina State defensive end Bradley Chubb is one of the top prospects in this year's NFL draft. Many experts have the phenom going within the top five picks.

A four-year player for the Wolfpack, Chubb accumulated 198 total tackles and 25 sacks throughout his career. 54 of his 198 career tackles were behind the line of scrimmage, which ranks first in the Atlantic Coastal Conference (ACC). Chubb also ranked first in conference for total sacks a year ago, recording 10. He also left his final season with three awards and an All-American team selection to add to an already impressive resume.

Chubb won the Bronko Nagurski Award, which is given to the most 'outstanding' defensive player. He also won the Ted Hendricks Award, an award also won by Jadeveon Clowney and is given to the best defensive end.

Chubb won the ACC Defensive Player of the Year Award, putting him on the same list with many notable athletes. Past ACC Defensive Player of the Year winners include Vic Beasley, Aaron Donald and Luke Kuechley. Both Donald and Kuechley have won the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year Awards, with the former winning it in 2017. Chubb will look to join Donald and Kuechley as an ACC and NFL Defensive Player of the Year winner, as his professional journey begins Thursday night.

Where will Chubb go? With many experts claiming he is a top five pick, that wouldn't be a bad spot to start. Any of the teams with a top five pick could potentially take Chubb off the board. Two of the first four picks belong to the Cleveland Browns, meaning another team could trade with the Browns in order to secure Chubb.

The Browns themselves are not a likely destination for Chubb to end up, despite the franchise hoisting two of the first four picks. According to NFL.com, Cleveland has two needs on the defensive side of the football. Niether of those needs are a defensive end, although that doesn't mean Cleveland wouldn't consider adding a prolific talent to their defensive line. Considering the Browns took a pass rusher with their first pick a season ago, it's not likely the Browns will go down that route with multiple spots to fill.

Both of the New York franchises are picking in the top three, with the Giants picking second ahead of the Jets. The Jets secured their third overall pick via a trade with the Indianapolis Colts, and both New York teams are in need of a defensive end. Jason Pierre-Paul is gone, with the Giants trading away their long time pass rusher. It's very possible the Giants take Chubb with their second pick, but the Giants also need a running back. If Penn State's Saquon Barkley is available with the second pick, the Giants may elect to go in that direction instead.

The Jets may very well be Chubb's destination. The Jets addressed their quarterback situation in the offseason, grabbing Teddy Bridgewater from the Minnesota Vikings. Bridgewater may not be the talent he was prior to his horrific injury, but the Jets seem willing to give him a year or two to prove himself as a starter. If the Jets elect to pass on a quarterback, Chubb will be the likely pick.

The Jets may very well take an offensive lineman also, as they are in desperate need of some help up front. The Denver Broncos currently own the fifth pick, which is another possible destination for Chubb should the other teams pass on the Raleigh talent. With Von Miller handling one side of the pass rush, Chubb could very well have the necessary time to develop while playing across from the attention grabbing Miller. Shane Ray, the current outside linebacker for Denver, may also be on the hot seat. Adding Chubb could help cushion Ray's workload, making him a more effective player overall.

Another franchise could also trade into the top five and grab Chubb, as his ability to play multiple positions makes him very valuable. Many of the experts have Chubb as an instant starter, with multiple Pro Bowls in his future. If that's the case, then it's hard to see any team let him fall into the top 10 or further down the board.
