This year Halloween falls on Wednesday, October 31. Since most towns in the Central region typically do not set trick-or-treating hours, parents can expect trick-or-treaters to be out on October 31.

For those planning to trick-or-treat in Fayetteville on October 31, Fayetteville officials have traditionally suggested trick-or-treating between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Raleigh:  Halloween Safe Night at the North Carolina Museum of History on Wednesday, October 31

Wake Forest: Halloween Spooktacular at the Flaherty Park Community Center on Thursday, October 25
