LUMBERTON, N.C. -- The FBI has made an arrest in the death of 13-year-old Hania Aguilar.

Previously reported:

Michael Ray McLellan faces ten charges including first degree murder, kidnapping, forcible rape, and sexual offense.

He is also charged with felony larceny and restraint, abduction of a child, concealment of death, and statutory sex offense and rape of a person under 15 years of age.

Aguilar went missing on November 5 after she was forced into a family member’s SUV at the Rosewood Mobile Home park in Lumberton.

Her body was found three weeks later. Authorities say the results of tests from that SUV resulted in McLellan’s arrest.

McLellan was already in jail on previous charges when he was arrested.

He is now being held without bond at the Robeson County Detention Center. He will make his first court appearance Monday morning.
