NORTH CAROLINA – Experts say holiday candy sales are expected to be pretty sweet this year, putting sales over $2 billion, according to The National Retail Federation and the National Confectionary Association.

However, Candystore.com found that people in North Carolina can’t seem to get enough of three candies in particular. Snickers is the top choice for North Carolinians followed by Reindeer Corn then Starburst.

The website says they received more than 30,000 responses from holiday candy lovers and a favorite across the nation is Reese’s Cup Minis. So you probably won’t go wrong tossing those in stockings as well.

Of course, can’t forget about the traditional candy canes which aren’t hard to come across considering 1.76 billion are produced each year for the holiday season, the website says.
