An area of showers passing through central and eastern North Carolina early Monday morning should be the only rain we see through at least Thanksgiving. Those showers will come to an end by mid and late morning.

Look for partly sunny skies Monday afternoon with highs in the low 60s. We'll see more clouds again late Monday night into Tuesday morning ahead of a front passing through the state. There is very little chance for rain with that front outside of a few brief sprinkles. Plenty of sun will return by Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday's temperatures will range from the upper 40s early in the morning to highs in the mid 60s in the afternoon.

Cooler air will arrive behind the front by late Tuesday night. Lows will drop to the mid 30s Wednesday morning.

Weather should not cause any travel problems locally for the day before Thanksgiving. We will see sunshine all day Wednesday with highs in the mid 50s.

Thanksgiving will also be sunny with morning lows in the mid 30s and a high only warming to near 50.
