If you did not like this week's cloudy and rainy weather, you should love the forecast for the next several days! Sunshine returns Friday and dry weather is in the forecast for next week.

Since Monday, all of central North Carolina has seen over three inches of rain. Fayetteville measured just over three and half inches. The Raleigh-Durham Airport has seen 5.28". Month to date, it is the wettest first half of November on record for the Triangle and the third wettest fall.

We should not add anything to those rain totals for the next several days. There is no rain currently in the forecast from Friday through Thanksgiving.

We will see plenty of sun the next several days, but that will not warm temperatures up by very much. Friday's highs will top out in the mid 50s.  Highs near 60 are expected over the weekend.  Monday will be the warmest day of next week with temperatures in the mid 60s. Highs will return to the 50s for Tuesday through Thanksgiving.
