CARRBORO, N.C. – An early morning shooting left one man dead and his brother injured.
The shooting happened in the 800 block of Old Fayetteville Road in Carrboro.
A woman on the scene identified the deceased victim as Jeremiah Williams and the injured victim as James Grace.
Police have not revealed a motive, but say it was a targeted attack and that the public is not in danger.
Carrboro is not known for this type of violence. Police report that the last shooting happened in the town in March and the last homicide was nearly three years ago.
No arrests have yet been made in this case.
