NORTH CAROLINA -- Two people were hurt after a building collapsed in Halifax County.

The building was being demolished and managed to trap two workers under rubble after it came down early.

Rescue workers were dispatched to Roanoke Valley Energy Facility around 12:30 p.m.

Both victims were rescued and taken to Halifax Regional Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
