GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Happy Sunday! After a soggy Saturday, sunshine returns today...but it will be chilly!

Under a sunny sky, temperatures will only reach the low to mid 50s in the Triad, mid to upper 50s in the Triangle, and low 60s in the Sandhills. It will be a breezy day, with northwest winds 10-15 mph and occasional gusts near 30 mph. This will make it feel even colder.

On Sunday night winds begin to calm, but that will only allow temperatures to drop lower. Frost advisories and freeze warnings are up across the state.

Low temperatures will drop to the low to mid 30s in the Triad, mid 30s in the Triangle, and upper 30s in the Sandhills.
Monday afternoon highs will climb to the 50s and 60s. We warm back up Tuesday and Wednesday with tons of sunshine.

Then the chance of rain increases as we head into the end of the week and into the weekend.
