FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- There were some clouds and a little bit of rain, but that didn't stop the fun.

Thousands of people came out to enjoy the annual Dogwood Fall Festival Saturday. As you would expect during the fall season, there were hay rides, historic hauntings, a food truck, craft beer and a lot of other things for people to enjoy.

"We are so lucky to have the support of our community. We always have great crowds at Dogwood Festival events and we couldn't do it without our sponsors, our volunteers, our patrons who always come out for Dogwood Festival events," said Sarah Suggs, marketing and events coordinator for the Dogwood Festival.

Organizers tell us that the fall festival usually averages between 30,000 and 60,000 people in attendance.
