NORTH CAROLINA -- After a few days of warm and humid weather, we will see things get back to normal for the latter half of the work week. A slow moving cold front will make its way through North Carolina, bringing in cooler air to make for a more seasonable start to Thursday

  • Ample sunshine for Thursday but highs only warm to the low and mid 60s
  • Thursday night into Friday morning will drop to the upper 30s

Look for clear skies overnight as temperatures drop into the mid and upper 40s by sunrise Thursday morning. Ample sunshine for Thursday but highs only warm to the low and mid 60s, a little on the cool side for this time of the year.

Thursday night into Friday morning will be even cooler. Lows could drop to the upper 30s for the first time since April for locations around the Triangle and to the north.

Scattered showers are expected for Saturday, and then another push of chilly air will be here for Sunday and Monday.
