It's all part of Tar Heels annual "Late Night with Roy" pre-season tip-off.

Fans got to watch their favorite players and newcomers compete in skills challenges, do some dancing and then watch the team scrimmage.

Fans of both the men's and women's basketball teams say this is gearing up to be another great season.

"I feel like we got the perfect mix of leadership and freshman youth," said die hard fan Josh Raynor. "I think they can make another run at the championship again."

In addition to getting the fans and players fired up for the season, "Late Night with Roy" also raised more than $23,000 for Hurricane Florence relief.
