Enfield Police found the body after a welfare check at the woman's home.

69-year-old Donna Sue Hudgins went to a funeral home to make arrangements for her 93-year-old mother Nellie Mae Hudgins. She told them that her mother died earlier that morning and wasn't sure where EMS had taken her mother's body.

The funeral home was unable to locate the body and Enfield Police was contacted. Investigators found the mother's body at the home where they say she was deceased for several months.

Donna now faces concealment of death charges and was placed on a $5,000 bond.

She is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 7.
