RALEIGH, N.C. -- Rapper J. Cole has cancelled Dreamville Festival, which was scheduled to come to the Triangle this weekend.

J. Cole tweeted the cancellation Monday evening.

 

 

 
Spectrum News meteorologists say Hurricane Florence is ranked as a Category 4 storm and is expected to hit the Raleigh area Thursday evening.
 
The festival was scheduled at Dorothea Dix Park and was projected to bring in more than 30,000 people.
 
Other artists to perform included SZA, Big Sean, Young Thug, and Nelly.
 
A new date for the festival has not been determined, but tickets are being refunded.
