FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Police are asking for the public's assistance to find 44-year-old Michael Moore, Sr. from Fayetteville.

• Officers issued a warrant for his arrest for first-degree murder.
• Moore's wife was found dead in her home last Wednesday.
• Police found Moore's car in Las Vegas on Monday.

Officers issued a warrant for his arrest for first-degree murder. This comes after police responded to a well-being check last Wednesday for his wife, 43-year-old Marcquius Timmons-Moore. She was dead when they arrived.

Officers started looking for her husband, Michael, and his car. Police said they found his car in Las Vegas on Monday, but are still looking for him.

"We still need information if anybody has any information on his whereabouts here in Fayetteville during the days leading up to discovery of his wife and even in Las Vegas," said. Maj. Robert Ramirez with the Fayetteville Police Department.
