WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Police said they had to go to another state to find the second person involved in a high speed chase turned shootout with police earlier this month.

Now the suspect, Daniel Reaves, is also facing kidnapping and robbery charges.

The 19 year old was a suspect in a police chase and shooting at Empie Park.
Police say Reaves and Greer Hayes, who was arrested after the chase, kidnapped a man, drove a few miles and pushed him out with gunshot wounds.
Officers say Reaves violated his probation and is being charged with first degree kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.
Reaves is waiting to be extradited from Kentucky. There is no word on his charges for the high speed chase and shooting with police.
