RALEIGH, N.C. -- Summer vacation is over for students throughout Central North Carolina as classes resume.

In Wake County, the state's largest school system serving more than 162,000 students at 187 schools, four new schools are opening today including South Garner High School.

Drivers should be aware because there will be close to 750 school buses on Wake County roads.
