SHALLOTTE, N.C. -- A man has been taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service after violently assaulting a pregnant Waffle House waitress in Shallotte.
Michael Scott Wiles was arrested Tuesday in Oakland, CA.
He will be extradited back to Brunswick County to face his charges.
