GARNER, N.C. -- Police say a 60-year-old man was killed Monday morning in a crash involving a pedestrian on U.S. Highway 401 near the U.S. 70 split in Garner.

It happened around 5:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 401 near the U.S. 70 split.

Police say Parker Robert Stancil was hit by 64-year-old Cheryl Tilley.

Video from the scene showed Tilley's SUV with extensive front-end damage.

No charges have been filed.
