DURHAM, N.C. – Police have made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting that happened in Durham late last month.

Forty-eight-year-old Sterling Whitted is charged with murder in the death of 43-year-old Reginald Johnson.  

Johnson was found dead on a front porch on Channing Avenue from a gunshot wound.

Investigators say the shooting does not appear to be random.           

Whitted is being held at the Durham County Jail without bond.
