This coming weekend will likely not be a complete washout, but we'll have to watch for scattered storms mainly during the afternoon and evening hours.

Before the weekend arrives, there's just a slight chance for a few isolated storms Thursday. Much of the day will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy. High temperatures will warm to the lower 90s.

Most of Friday will also be dry but a few storms are expected late Friday afternoon and evening. High temperatures will top out around 90 for the last day of the week.

The coverage of the afternoon storms will be more widespread Saturday and Sunday resulting in the higher chance for rain. Some of the storms could produce locally heavy downpours and frequent lightning. Highs this weekend will be in the mid to upper 80s.
