CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Chapel Hill Police responded to a stabbing Sunday morning.

It happened on Nunn Street around 10.

A male victim was stabbed by someone known to him. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene, and there is no ongoing danger to the public.

The victim and the suspect, who have not yet been identified, were transported to UNC Hospitals for treatment of injuries received during the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
