All of the ingredients are in place for unsettled weather Sunday. An area of low pressure will be drifting into the Ohio Valley region. Ahead of that, in the Carolina's, plenty of moisture will feed in from the southwest. Instability will be provided by the heating of the day along with disturbances wrapping around the low. There will also likely be some outflow boundaries leftover from any storms to our west and northwest. So, there's a lot to work with. That's why storms are likely Sunday. Some may be severe. Scattered storms will continue Monday and Tuesday as a front stalls across the area. We expect 2 to 4 inches of rain between now and the end of Tuesday. Needless to say, flooding is a concern. Be safe out there!
