CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- More than 100 people are expected to tell Charlotte's City Council why they think the 2020 Republican National Convention should or shouldn't be hosted by the Queen City.

City council will vote on whether or not to accept $50 million in federal security funding for the convention at their meeting, Monday night.

Each person who signed up will have one minute to speak ahead of the council's vote.
