DURHAM, N.C. -- A family has nowhere to live after a fire ripped through their home early Sunday morning.

  • It happened on Waring Street just before 3:30 a.m.
  • Heavy smoke and fire was coming from the back of the home.

Fire officials responded to several calls from neighbors about a burning home on Waring Street just before 3:30 a.m.

They found heavy smoke and fire was coming from the back of the home, which caused major damage to the roof and two rooms of the home.

No injuries have been reported
