Ahead of a cold front, highs soared into the mid 90s Wednesday afternoon. Today, that front will bring us the threat for scattered showers and storms along with more seasonal temperatures.

This round of showers and storms should taper off this evening, allowing for a dry and mild night.

The end of the work week should be fairly quiet, with a small chance for a shower or storm as temperatures hang in the upper 80s.

The weekend will be mainly dry and very summer-like with highs near 90.

An increased threat for showers and storms will return to the state next Monday, to kick off the work week.
