CHARLOTTE -- The Charlotte Hornets have less than a week to finalize their NBA Draft plans, and holding the 11th overall pick in the first round, they will likely have several options.

The team worked out six more players on Friday, Trevon Bluiett (Xavier), Markel Crawford (Ole Miss), Drew Eubanks (Oregon State), Anton Gill (Nebraska), Nigel Johnson (Virginia), and Shaquille Morris (Wichita State).

The Hornets did get a look at Clayton, NC native, and former Cincinnati Bearcat Gary Clark this week.  He played all four years with Cincinnati, and he feels that his commitment to defense, and his maturity level coming into the NBA would be  great assets for any team that brings him on board.

"I think the beauty of it for me is, I've been a defender all four years," Clark said after his workout on Thursday.  "It's been instilled in me, so no matter what, I play defense.  I rebound.  I do those things.  Get me on the court at the next level, and those things are very important."

"I think being older, you really know who you are, and you can impose your will in those areas."
