A TV mom with a successful reboot got her show canceled because of a single tweet.

Roseanne Barr, the star of the top-rated ABC series "Roseanne," is being called a racist because of what she wrote on Twitter.

The latest development came in the early morning hours Wednesday, when Barr posted on Twitter that she'd "made a mistake."

The now-deleted tweet was in reference to Valerie Jarrett, former President Barack Obama's senior adviser.

Barr compared her to an ape, with many calling what the comedian said racist.

However, Barr put some of the blame on the sleeping medication Ambien.

So Ambien has been a top trend Wednesday morning with almost 20,000 tweets.

Later Wednesday morning, Sanofi, the maker of Ambien, tweeted that "racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication."
